The cheerful “Merry Medic” has been part of Australia’s media scene for many years, and was awarded the Order of Australia (AM) in 1998. He continues to practise medicine as a GP in a northern Sydney suburb, seeing patients and dispensing his own friendly brand of medical care, as well as delivering daily advice to an enormous nation-wide audience.
